This week I had the most amazing experience. My wife and I made a trek to a relatively new shop called Handsman. If you are looking to do some kind of DIY project around your house or apartment, then you need to take yourself to Handsman in Matsubara, (a suburb of Osaka city).
I believe that Handsman has something for any and every project that you could ever dream of or imagine! If they don’t have what you need here, then it probably doesn’t exist!
They have an amazing garden center with lots of beautiful pots and plants to make any property stand out!
The prices are more than reasonable as well so that your DIY projects don’t have to cost an arm and a leg! This is a place where even the professionals shop at!
Outside or inside Handsman’s got you covered! They have an assortment of different lights and lighting choices for interior design projects.
The sheer volume and variety of products, tools, and materials are simply amazing at Handsman! The endcaps and layout of the whole store are breathtaking!
Walking through Handsman almost gives you sensory overload! There is so much to see and so many options for finding what you want that it’s a little daunting. It also makes for an amazing place to window shop and just spend an afternoon looking around all of the possibilities!
They have some interesting and inexpensive stationary supplies that could also be used as souvenirs for family members back home!
One of the only complaints that I had while shopping there, was the fact that there wasn’t a lot of staff around to help out if I had any questions, (which I did have some questions about and I couldn’t find any staff to help me). In the case of Handsman, it seems that DIY takes on a whole new meaning.
There are two floors with the more industrial materials and goods on the first floor and home goods on the second.
On a sunny afternoon, Handsman is especially beautiful! In the same complex, there is also an Aeon supermarket and a small shopping mall as well as several restaurants and a food court in case you get hungry!
The only other drawback of Handsman is the accessibility. There are no train stations close to the location so you need a car in order to get there, but there is ample parking!
Until next time! Cheers!
