Osaka Nightlife!: Another one!
They say that New York is a city that never sleeps, and while that may be true, it’s not the only one! Osaka is a city with a vibrant nightlife that goes from dusk till dawn! There are a wide variety of different options for your nighttime entertainment.
If you like friendly competition with a side of drinks, then a Darts bar is an amazing option!
A friendly and helpful staff usually greets you at these kinds of establishments, which are all over the city. However, drinks are a little on the pricey side at some of these places so be aware.
By yourself or with a friend or four, Darts bars are fun mixed with a little exercise to burn a few of the empty calories you’re consuming while you play. A pro tip, if you want to drink beer only while playing darts, then I suggest going to play darts at a gaming center called RoundOne! Most beers are only ¥200-¥300,($1.28-$1.92) a cup!
Other Options!
If you’re looking for something different, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for different events coming and going through the city. Some examples of different events are Oktoberfest, which unlike the name suggests, doesn’t usually take place in October.
Don’t worry if you miss it in one location, because it takes place in different parks around the city throughout the year.
As discussed in a previous blog, I recently went to the Belgian Beer Weekend, which was a fantastic event and a great way to spend an evening!
If nightlife isn’t what you’re after, then don’t worry too much because most of these events take place night and day.
Another option for you, if you’re looking to drink, is the traditional neighborhood bars called Izakaya’s. These are popular with people of all ages, but especially older gentlemen in Japan.
I guess I am getting old because I love going to Izakaya’s! The food is usually amazing with a wide variety of different menu items. Anything from fresh sashimi to grilled meats and fish and everything in-between an Izakaya has a menu item for everyone!
Whatever you’re looking for in a night out on the town, the Osaka nightlife has something for everyone! Until next time!
